We at Guided Growth Family Counseling are committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive, and affirming space for all people. I do not discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, relationship structure, age, ability status, neurodivergence, body size, socioeconomic status, immigration status, or any other aspect of identity or lived experience.

This practice actively affirms and supports individuals from historically marginalized communities and strives to provide care that is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and grounded in respect and humility. Everyone deserves to feel safe, heard, and valued in the therapeutic space.

1. Who I Am

This website is owned and operated by Jasmine Mims, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #103277)  providing therapy services in the state of California. I offer individual therapy for clients ages 11 and up. I currently do not provide services for court-mandated clients, divorce/custody evaluations, or legal proceedings. If you are in crisis or need emergency support, please see the resources below.

2. Information I Collect

This website may collect limited personal information if you choose to contact me using the form provided. This may include:

  • Your name

  • Email address

  • Phone number

  • General message content (e.g., your interest in therapy)

Additionally, basic website analytics (such as browser type, time spent on site, and IP address) may be collected to improve website functionality. These are processed through standard third-party services (e.g., Google Analytics).

3. How Your Information Is Used

Information you share is used only to:

  • Respond to your inquiries

  • Schedule a consultation or provide service-related communication

Your personal information will never be sold or shared for marketing purposes.

Please do not share sensitive or private health information through this website or email. While I take precautions to protect your data, email and website contact forms are not fully secure or HIPAA-compliant.

If you become a client, you’ll receive a separate Notice of Privacy Practices, which outlines how your health information is protected under HIPAA.

 

5. Emergency and Crisis Situations

This practice does not provide emergency or crisis intervention services. If you are in immediate danger or need urgent support, please contact:

  • Call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room

6. Your Rights Under California Law (CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:
