Frequently Asked Questions

1
What should I expect during my first session?
During your first session, the therapist will typically ask about your background, concerns, and what you'd like to achieve through therapy. This is a great opportunity for you to ask questions as well.
2
Do you work with children, teens, and adults?
Yes, we offer therapy for children (ages 11 and up), adolescents, and adults. Each age group receives care tailored to their developmental needs. For younger children, we often incorporate play therapy and parent involvement.
3
How do I know if I (or my child) need therapy?
You don’t have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, anxious, depressed, or simply not yourself—or if your child is struggling emotionally, behaviorally, or socially—therapy can offer support, insight, and practical tools to help navigate life more effectively.

4
Do you offer in-person or online sessions
At this time we only offer telehealth sessions.
5
Do you accept insurance?
We do not work directly with insurance companies. However, we can provide a superbill (a detailed receipt) that you may submit to your insurance provider for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Be sure to check with your insurance about coverage.
6
